The Oxford Commons is a group which aims to grow the gift economy in Oxford. We want to address the problems with capitalism here and now by gradually building alternative ways of providing for ourselves, getting means of production under democratic control and distributing resources according to need. We are a cooperative which can buy assets and hold them in common with limited liability for our members, who can be individuals or other community groups.
